Building Excellence Awards 2012

Every year Local Authority Building Control Departments put forward thousands of their customers and their projects for local, regional and national awards.  They do this because they believe in quality work and want to see it recognised.  LABC’s Building Excellence Awards are all about the essence of good buildings.  Finalists are not judged on architectural beauty, but on the “Excellence” shown from a construction and technical building control point of view.  The awards showcase buildings and design teams that have had to tussle with technical issues, difficult sites, innovative and creative solutions.  We are delighted that Manor Longbridge Primary School was recently nominated by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Building Control section for a Building Excellence Awards and our nomination has successfully been entered into the London Regional Final.  The London Regional Building Excellence Awards 2012 will be held on Thursday 24th May in the Old Library Guildhall, London, where Neilcott will participate in celebrating our outstanding achievement of creating one of the most excellent buildings within the London region.
