Child Safety Week 24-30 June 2013

Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust’s flagship annual community education campaign, raising awareness of serious childhood accidents and how to prevent them, without wrapping children in cotton wool.  Child Safety Week runs from Monday 24 to Sunday 30 June, with the theme “Be a Safety Hero”.  All of our education sites will be sporting the “Ivor Goodsite” Child Safety Week promotional sign to raise awareness of the real impact that this week has.  Last year, awareness of Child Safety Week among parents hit an all-time high of 31%.  In 2012, one in eight parents surveyed made their children safer from serious accidents as a direct result of the week.  More information about the campaign can be found at
