Ground-Breaking Ceremony

Work has officially started on the project to expand Branfil Primary School in Upminster to provide more school places for local families in time for the next academic year.  Councillor Michael White, Headteacher Andy Kelly, Neilcott Managing Director Malcolm Elster and pupils from the school all grabbed spades to signal the start of construction work with a ground-breaking event.  Councillor Michael White, the Leader of Havering Council stated “It was great to see so many children from the school council taking part in the ground-breaking, and to hear how excited they all are about the new school building which will provide school places for the future Havering generation”.
