Surprise Gift for Neilcott Project Manager

Neilcott have recently completed the refurbishment of the existing Holbeach Primary School buildings and construction of a new dining hall and kitchen building with external play roof deck.  The single storey extension to the north of the school is joined via a glazed link corridor and accommodates the new hall and kitchen with WC facilities.  The project also incorporated an early years teaching block with external teaching space.  One of the project objectives was to minimise disruption to education and noisy works were therefore undertaken outside of school hours.  Due to sensitive health issues of some of the existing pupils works were undertaken in compliance with Health Building Note 00-09: Infection Control in the Built Environment.

The staff and students at Holbeach Primary School this morning surprised Neilcott Project Manager, Will Homewood with a leaving gift of a difference.  Neilcott’s Senior Contracts Manager, Paul Wright remarked “the likeness is outstanding”!  Throughout the project works Will maintained extensive liaison and communication with the staff to ensure that there was no disruption to the smooth running of the school.  Will also arranged for the burial of a time capsule within the new build extension, health and safety assemblies with students and site tours etc.

Upon completion the Client stated “…..the fact that the new classrooms, early years, dining room and landscaping have been delivered in such a short period is a testament to how well the whole team has worked together and your commitment at every stage.  Very many thanks”.  This was backed up by the Client’s Employers Agent who added “Please pass on my thanks to the whole of the Neilcott Team for the way and manner that the project was undertaken, the proactive approach adopted and the standards achieved.  The project was another one in the Neilcott list of can do, will do – Thank You”.Will-Homewood-Leaving-Present
